Blanket Chest

2018. Pine.

This began as a copy of an old blanket chest in our house. The dimensions and the detailing of the lid follow that model. I was also inspired by some 24” rough-sawn pine boards I found at a sawmill. I like the industrial goemetric marks made by the 48” sawmill blade, so I left them untouched.
